     HST RECRUITMENT      

Georgia Regional Hospital at Savannah offers many opportunities for new as well as experienced health care workers. We provide extensive training and support our staff throughout their careers with the hospital. 

HST JOB SUMMARY: 
The Health Service Technician (HST)performs assigned direct care activities, basic nursing procedures and training for patients/clients in an inpatient hospital setting. HST’s implement assigned parts of the individualized treatment plans and assist patients/clients in learning daily living skills, participate in recreational and social activities and accompanies patients/clients to appointments and activities. HST’s also observe and document patient/client behavior.The HST is an important part on the direct care team.

FULL-TIME CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:

PART-TIME CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:
     Part-time (PRN) opportunities exist through out the different units of our hospital.  Work 
     schedules are varied depending on the hospital needs and your availability.

CNA STUDENTS:  
     Part-time job opportunities also exist for CNA students through out our hospital.  
     Students can gain valuable work experience by working as a Health Service Technician 
     while attending school.  We offer flexible schedules to accommodate the students’ 
     class schedule.

SALARIES:
     Salaries are based on the applicant’s education and experience.
